Been a bit, gonna ramble here... 2007/06/10 09:58 Karma: 0
Well it has been a bit since the M-Day ride I know but things just went south here when we got home from the ride, PC crashed so been doing that...

While on that subject just briefly.... WIndows Vista SUcks a big one.. I decided instead of updateing the old PC I would just get a new one, wish I had my old one back...........

Anyway onto the M-Day ride...

We gt down there oh around 5pm Friday and checked all in at the motel, big bar right close to it so we went there. Think it was called OutLaws, big place and rowdy...

That night our next door motel user was shuffled out by the cops for wife/women battering, the bar people where so loud we could hear them in the room...

But all that is cool as when we all went to the park the next day it made up for it. First time there, very nice and well kept park. We played for 1 1/2 days there until I just could not do no more from being sore. Jimmie and his new Renegade took on many of players at the race area, bet all except the Banshees and those things are fast....

My Can-Am did blow some away as well but not as many, get a fat old man on a big heavy bike and all slows a bit..

Watched the big lifted trucks in the mud, one about tipped over, did get stuck and have to be pulled out.

The trail that goes around the whole park was very nice, took it slow and looked around alot. I think the little round the tree spots in the sand where people have dgu down so deep where just a blast to get on. When all of us where on it felt like a dog chasing there tails...

Anyway all in all was a very nice place, will go back. But I think it is more suited for the fast 2 wheel atv's, dirt bikes, sand buggies etc. Though it had some nice 4 whl style atv areas just seemed to be more along the lines of go fast than hard trails. Think we went on about every trail there w/o concerns. Even in the mud pits while others just stood around wondering if they could make it throught them, we did....

Thanks again the site for all the heads up info on the park, we will return..

Sorry if this is to long..

July 5th through the 7th, Chadwick bound... yeppie

Great article, we went on memorial day. The trails were a little wet on the backside of the park. Of course a YFZ450 doesn't have mud flaps so I was soaked. Had a great time and wish i had more days off to travel around the area riding trails. Did you get a chance to check out the campgrounds, they are very nice. I wish I had a few bucks to buy one of those nice RV's with a 50 inch tv. LIving the good life. Oh well!

Anyone out there ride at a different park over the holidays, would you mind sharing your information on our homepage. I would like to get some people to start writing articles that would be posted on the front page of our site. I am not looking for anything difficult, just a few thoughts from our visitors. Old Goat is a writer, he posts topics like a mad man. Thanks for the good stories man, grab you about 5pounds of epson salt and a hot tub, soreness will be gone in no time.

thanks guys

Checked out the campgrounds, very nice. Reminded me of the ones at Chadwick.

5th Wheel toy hauler 36' will be in my driveway next year. Going to get one at sports/outdoor show. Next year the wife and I as well as a few others are going to Colorado so it will come in handy....

Off subject, humor here....

Speaking of the wife, for all those out there that are married, those that are thinking of it let me explain something here about the vows....

Contray to thought a preacher nor Jesus, nor God wrote the vows but rather a old married wise man did.... In the vows he put a very smart saying that only true wisdom and time was able to bring out. He put into the vows one says to the other a challenge, a goal to conquer and over come.... Only time with his partner (and menapause) would bring such wonderful words to a Old married man....

"Until Death do us part"

Love my Wife, 15 yrs this June 23 of bliss and heavenly torture......

Sorry to all the women, had too...............
