Come down to chadwick for some challenging trails. Fall and winter is the best time to ride. You must purchase a permit. Maps are available at Kays general store.

i would like to make a trip down there and see how it is, i would also like to post information about chadwick on my site so others could see what it was like.

several people have mentioned that this is a great place to ride but also said its best you have a 4x4 with some skid plates. any else's thoughts on Chadwick?

4wd works, but it's fun to tear up the trails on a sport quad. Yes you better have good skid plates.
Make sure to pick up a map (even though it will be a little out dated). Best to go with someone who has been there before.
Check out ozarktrailsatv.com...local club. Charles is very familiar with the trail system.
I live about 45 mins away. If I'm available I could meet you there.

Fall and winter are the best time to come. Cool and damp. Keeps the dust down. Spring is pretty wet. Also this time of year the trees have no leaves, letting you see down the trails. This way you can haul ass without worring about a head on crash.
