Keeping the Doors Open at St. Joe Park
Written by Ryan Bohnert
Friday, 18 January 2008

Well the EPA is now working with DNR and St. Joe Park management on the tailings area. State officials Bonds, Emerson, and Mc Caskills office were bombarded with support letters for asking to keep St. Joe Park open. And that has really got the EPA thinking about closing the tailings and swim areas.

You can get more information about the recent battle at www.SAVESTJOESTATEPARK.COM, and the support letters can be found there also  Please print, sign, and send to all 3 officials above, get all of your friends to do the same. I suggest you put your name and address on them also. They have more impact now, but at the time, the bulk is what we were wanting. Special thanks goes to Tom Schulte from Bonds office in Cape, and to State Rep Brad Robinson, who has really backed us, and was very outspoken about EPA.  Also when you ride at the park, tell the park superindents Bill Bonnell and Sandy Mc Cain thanks for taking a very hard stand for what is right.  Thanks!  Ryan at www.stjoepark.com.

Needing an ATV Website?
Written by Ryan Bohnert
Monday, 17 December 2007

Hey everyone, welcome to www.stjoepark.com, my name is Ryan and I am the webmaster.  Over the last few weeks I have gotten several emails from readers regarding websites for their ATV clubs or shops, and I have to tell you that this can be a really great thing, or it can just be a huge nightmare.  If you are considering making this jump there are several things you need to know and have laid out to start.

First of all, plan to spend some money.  As with all websites there is up front fees and recurring monthly fees for hosting.  And if your plan was to make money, you might want to find another habit fast.

Second, you need an audience that will keep coming back for more.  As with all sites, there will be some down time throughout a year, and sometimes no one wants to chat.  Don't be discouraged, and keep on generating that great content that will keep them coming back.

And last of all, if you don't know what you are doing, don't be afraid to ask.  Besides, who wants to spend all their time working, and not talking with the people visiting your site.

If you are interested in starting a site, but don't know how/where to begin, feel free to contact me.  I will try to help as best as I can. Thanks!  Ryan at www.stjoepark.com.

  Thanks again!
