Leave your cares at the gate as you explore this peaceful retreat where natural wonders and comfort combine for a one-of-a-kind experience. Crown Ridge is the place you've been looking for- a place of inspiration, relaxation and reflection. Crown Ridge was founded in 2004 by Joe Scott Sr. The 55-acre estate features an elegant restaurant, private banquet facility, comfortable lodging, and tiger sanctuary. ![]()
At Crown Ridge Tiger Sanctuary we’ve enclosed a hillside with a custom-designed caging system to provide the healthiest and safest possible environment for our four-year-old girls Thor and Gracie, their parents Mohan and Raja, and one-year-old Alexis, our African lion. It’s a place for them to do what comes naturally -- to stretch their muscles and stimulate their senses. To swat at a branch, or a dangling ball. To take a swim. To pounce. Or simply to nap, sprawled out in the sun. We have established Crown Ridge as a permanent home for these exotic cats as part of our larger commitment to conservation and wildlife preservation. Through presentations, tours, youth programs, and our website we seek to educate people on the endangerments the cats face in the wild as well as in captivity.
